Smt. T. Swapna Rani

Smt. T. SWAPNA RANI , M.A. (Music) [Ph.D] has been rendering her services as an Assistant Lecturer in Carnatic Vocal at Sri Gyana Saraswathi Govt. School of Music & Dance, Nizamabad.

She has worked as an Assistant Lecturer in Carnatic Vocal on honorarium basis from 2004 to 2007, later she worked on contract basis at the same music school from 2007 to 2017. Telangana Govt. has regularized the services of the contract lecturers in 2017.

Her services were regularized since 15th March 2017 and was given posting at the same school where she had rendered her Services as a music teacher. She is the mentor of so many carnatic vocal students during her teaching at this govt. music school for 13 years.

She was born as the youngest daughter to Sri. T. Muthanna and Smt. Laxmi in Bhainsa. She started learning the basics of music from Sri. D. Raja Narsimha Chary at ZPHS Bhainsa. Though she was brought up from a non-music related family, she acquired M.A.,( Music).

She is now a pre-doctoral fellow in Music of Sri. Padmavathi Mahila University , Tirupathi . She often participated in almost all the holy concerts of music and Bhajans held in both districts i.e, Nizamabad and Adilabad.

She has participated in the national Seminar conducted by the Department of Music and Fine arts at Sri Padmavathi Mahila University-Tirupathi on 17th and 18th March 2017 ( Sponsored by U.G.C) and the topic chosen by her was Post – Trinity Vaggeya Karas.
She participated in a National Seminar conducted by the Department of Language and Culture - Government of Telangana in Hyderabad on the topic “Shyama Shyasthri and his Krithis in Sanskrit.
She enriched the seminar conducted by Sri Padmavathi Mahila University – Tiruupathi by giving her presentation on Sri. Tyagaraja Swamy Divya Nama Sankeerthanalu.

She has presented and participated at so many holy classical bhajans and concerts held in many cities like unified Adilabad Dist, Nizamabad , Karimnagar, Hyderabad, New Delhi, and in various states like Maharashtra State, Gujarath etc.,
Her performances as a Carnatic Classical Vocal Singer in so many Official programs conducted by The Dept. of Language and Culture Govt. of Telangana in various places was a special attraction of the event.
She gave her voice as a play back singer for so many dance recitals of Andhra Natyam
More than100 Carnatic music vocal Classical singers were performed under her guidance the Tyagaraja Divya Aaradhana in January – 2017 in Armoor which was a record breaking performance, the first ever in Telangana State, Acknowledged by Telugu Book of Records
